I'm Back!!

I'm going to give this another go, I have missed blogging and looking back over the years and the many different blogs it has been a chronicle of our lives as the kids grew up and of our many, many moves. It seems that Blogger has changed and I can't seem to find out how to make the text appear larger. I guess I'll figure it out. I woke, as usual, before 3am thanks to the buzzsaw. I am predicting a cold snap here as I started putting away my Winter clothes, not that I wore many of them, I spent most of the past few months in pjs thanks to a lovely big bout of depression from which I am now emerging thanks in part to going back on the wagon. Also we took off the heavy feather doona and replaced it with the lighter bamboo one so that will guarantee some cold weather for sure. We got in and vaccuumed (well Phill did) and washed the sheets and quilt cover and some throw rugs. I got out the bag of my Summer clothes and found some prettiful dresses that I forgot I had which will be great for our trip to Victoria next month for our 31st wedding anniversary. My brother Noel and his wife are meeting us at Ballarat for our two night stay there which will include his 79th birthday. I'm hoping to get this house in order before then, our lovely cat sitter will think she's in the wrong house! There is so much to do but baby steps, it's been months of neglect and it isn't going to get done overnight. So I'm sitting here with a cup of chai tea while the cats carry on because I won't feed them yet, and the wind howls outside. We were supposed to get storms but that didn't happen and rain is predicted here till Friday which will be good for the garden and the tanks. Phill is going away tomorrow till Saturday so that will be nice, I can get stuff done and get some decent sleep hopefully.
